Artist comments: WOw I hate the picture on this page with Lola... I had to change Lola from the beginning, because I hated her hairstyle. I must confess that I have liked her alot better from comic 9 on. Lola is one of those characters that has her own agenda.
She is called Lola, because her life philosophy is reminescent of a song from the musical Damn Yankees which is titled 'Whatever Lola wants...Lola gets. This is very true with Lola. Lola can connive her way in or out of any situation. She is calculating and secretive. Lola tends to get things done. She is wise to how the world works and knows how to get that world to work for her.
Lola is oddly enough the den mother of the crew. She is the one that fixes problems that no one else can. She is also the voice for the crew. She explains things to the crew and the reader about the world and how it works.
Lola is the type of character that is laden with sex appeal and intrigue, but oddly enough is never seen dating. She is the unobtainable Ginger that no one dares to chase
