Humans have expanded their interstellar influence and are a major presence in alien affairs. They outnumber every other major alien race by gigantic proportions, and have forced begrudging alliances with most other known alien nations.

Other alien races fear humans as their constant expansion often invades alien territory. Skirmishes between humans and aliens are quickly settled, however, since the human military is invariably larger than the entire alien population they are fighting with.

Humanity's evolution into the dominant species of space resulted from eugenic efforts aimed at developng what the race considers to be the perfect human. Medical technological advancements made over 1000 years ago have culminated in the creature we see today: humans born with complex cellular nannite systems that rid their bodies of imperfections such as genetic anomalies, deformities, disease and toxins. Humans do not age, staying in the magic range of between 25-30, and they have an alarmingly fast healing rate. Bones that are broken fix themselves in days -- even minutes -- and lost limbs eventually regenerate.

These advances caused the overpopulation of Earth, and later, the solar system. With terraforming programs that could make a planet Earth-like in a space of 20 short years, even the inhabitable planets and moons of the solar system reached their limit, and humans began to spread out into other star systems, where they met, and antagonized, terrified, or even befriended, every alien race they met.

For any human, the ultimate place to be is in the home solar system, and if you're really lucky, Earth itself.

Personality
The oldest humans are known as Elders. They tend to be more stoic and conservative. They also have a harder work ethic and are more into structure and maintaining planets' natural balance of things. Elders tend to be more solemn and are highly educated and versed in many languages, the arts, and keep excellent historical records. Elders seldom leave the solar system.
The mid range aged humans are more arrogant. They are more liberal and rough around the edges. They like to take an active approach in everything they do. They are proud of their physical perfection and often strive to push their bodies to their absolute peak. They often prefer to show off their obvious strength to other races and are seldom afraid of conflicts.
Younger ranged humans tend to be more free spirited. They are usually adventurers. Most are at the age to be on colony ships. They are never cautious. They have little or no concept of mortality. Younger humans tend to have a minimal understanding for a respect of life.
