First off...
I would like you to click the box right here

I am going to keep this annoying box here until the end of this month... Oh the humanity.
CLICK AWAY
Go ahead... It won't bite
And tonight something completely different...
I have decided to run again. No, I don't mean in an election or a marathon, you twit. I have decided to run a roleplaying game. Lois is currently running a bebop style game and my husband is running a Dawnfire game and my friend Mawg is running a Cyberpunk game. Plus I am in a high power game where I play one of my favorite characters I have ever played. So now I have decided to run a monthly game. Why? I guess partially because I ran an excellent group a while back and when they all moved I had to stop. Very sad because I liked the group I was running.
So I decided to try my luck again. I am running a Dawnfire game. i don't know why I decided to I guess mostly because I think it would be fun. It is also nice to take a tiny break from playing where you get to control the situation. It is also nice to take a great breather where you once again understand where the GM is coming from.
In the long run players should NEVER try to question the head guy, ref, firlord, dungeon master, Game master, rules overlord.... you get the idea...
A lot of times I am in a game where people walk all over the firelord by saying "You shouldn't let her do that" Or "I would have just killed them" Or "hey that is NOT fair!" I granted tend to argue about XP and just generally like pestering the person in charge. Or I just roll way too many crits. Which piss off the players.
Why be pissed off by way too many crits if you are in a player. In the long run it saves the party's life. I am having a real issue with players bitching about other players abilities and activities. LIGHTEN UP! It is a game. There is no best person. Roleplaying games have no winners or losers. It is just an exercise in having fun.
I wish people would remember that instead of using it as their only outlet to deal with their frustrations. I used to use it that way and roleplaying became less fun for me and everyone around me. Once I began to run again I began to relax and realize that it is suppose to be fun. Roleplaying isn't about PKing. It's just supposed to be fun.
