Hmmm... holy cow or something. I hit 300. Plus I also wrote something in this here collumn. I am still playing FFXI, but have been playing Star Ocean. I think Penny Arcade has the right summation of what it feels like playing Star Ocean. It can be frustratingly hard at times. Like I want to hurl my controller at the tv because the AI is soooooooo stupid. You think the AI would learn NOT to do attacks that heal your enemy-- funny that.

My other probelem is that some of the things that made Star Ocean Really fun, the skill system such as femir and music are gone. Plus your ability to pickpocket everyone under the sun is also gone. The emotional index is a little less complicated, and private action mode seems to be a little less fun. They added a new thing called inventing which is alot of fun... but EATS through your money like no tomorrow. This is much akin to trying to craft in FFXI, the item is never worth the investment to make it.

There are some nice things to Star Ocean, but there is alot of frustration.... alot. Having to leave 3 dungeons to go back to town to get an item so that you can go back to the 3 dungeons to get another item to get through the fourth dungeon also doesn't fill me with the warmest of fuzzies!

Well guess its back to FFXI where I must go and get level 50, sometime this century. I just get so sick of levelling, particularly when you play aclss that dies alot. Its also frustrating when everyone else is worlds ahead of you.

FINALLY

The Word has been updated to 7:8. 7:9 has seen fit to gove me trouble, so instead of posting something half-assed and then revising, I'm just skipping the posting bit. Consider it in revisions.

Started back at gym. Let's see if that does anything to reduce my time committments. Ha! <<<<<- Lois has waaaaaaaaay too many things on her plate OF COURSE it will reduce time commitments.
